FIGURES BENCH
The Figures Bench is a 7-foot bench with a 16” deep seat and 16” height. The default top and base are burnt ash but can be optioned out at additional cost.
FIGURES - This collection can be easily identified by its visually simple profile and its deeply textured surfaces. Each piece is an assembly of three slabs, two legs, and a top. On approach, the depth and movement of the piece come into focus. Through a manual process of burning and brushing, the distinctive movement found in the figure of the wood is made prominent. Elaborate designs are deliberately avoided allowing the textures to take a primary focus. Tactile surfaces invite exploration through touch, offering users not only a functional work but an interactive and sensory connection with the material itself.
